Cynthia Robinson has a love of dance and music that began in childhood and remains a fevered inspiration to all of her current effort as a member of MSBU. As head Detroit Ballroom instructor, Cynthia has built a family of ballroomers and dedicates herself to keeping a positive, progressive classroom.
While ballroom has been close to heart, Cynthia has assisted with stepping throughout the years with stepping and have also coordinated several workshops, including one of Milwaukee's first line dance workshops which introduced the Bad Girl Hustle.
Cynthia believes that all that we arises with our thoughts. Her experience as a writer will give voice to Milwaukee's dance community. It is her hope that the urban dance community at large can achieve the respect and recognition currently found in mainstream social dance. She believes as individuals, our thoughts will dictate our actions. It is her hope that all that is good in our rich history of dance is translated through our thoughts and actions. |
