Marcus DeWitt is June’s Dancer of the Month. The Milwaukee dance community has recognized Marcus throughout the years for his diligent support of classes, events, workshops and road trips. In addition to Stepping, he is also one of the most active Detroit Ballroom dancers in the community. He often introduces and invites many fellow dancers to learn Ballroom through MSBU’s weekly classes.

Marcus’s asset to the community has also flourished online through his active MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, and Dance Fetish pages. Through the network of friends he has established in the both the dance and poetry communities, Marcus shines a positive light on the urban dance scene. His positive approach has helped ensure the continued growth and enjoyment of dance in our community.
