Jessie Anderson is one of Milwaukee's prized gentlemen in the dance community. The skill he has with partnering and smoothness has awarded him a reputation from the ladies as one of the best male partners. He describes himself best in saying "I'm a very laid back and respectful kind of guy. I believe a woman should be treated and respected like a lady at all times. This is my personality and I will always show it on/off the dance floor. I guess you can say I'm just an Ole Country Guy."
Jessie comes to us from the Dirty, Dirty South... Mississippi that is. Once in Milwaukee, he became interested in stepping while 'two steppin' with a young lady back in 2008. Taking notice that he was two-steppin
while she was doing Chicago Step, she remarked "If you just take classes, you will be smooth and all of the ladies will love you." He did and the rest is history.
After only five months of being a beginner, Jessie's love of stepping, lead him to enter The Majestic Gents World's Largest Stepping Contest. In 2009, his drive and determination earned him a Prestigious Award for Most Improved Stepper with Stepping with Finesse of Milwaukee. He has won at least three grab bag contests and placed third in another one. Jessie has also taken pleasure in learning the art of Detroit Club Style
Ballroom. His charisma and smoothness is translated across dance styles.
Jessie brings to the organization natural talent, learned skills and the desire to keep rising to the top. He is an asset to the art of dance and a carrier of the long treasured tradition of men being gentlemen and treating ladies like jewels on the dance floor. He is sure to continue his success in the local and greater dance communities.
