Alicia Smith spearheads MSBU’s experienced team of stepping instructors and assistants. As co-founder of MSBU, Lisa has been at the realm of instructional classes and has introduced an impressive number of students to the stepping community throughout her many years of teaching; many of whom have become instructors and notable steppers.
Lisa’s influence extends beyond teaching. Her dedication to the charitable needs of the community has set example of how organizations and individuals can give back to the communities we work, live, and are entertained in. Lisa has been at the forefront of successful collaborations with organizations such as the UNCF, Children’s Hospital Sickle Cell Clinic, African World Festival Milwaukee and Good Jobs and Livable Neighborhoods Coalition. Lisa’s experience in community relations raise the bar for best business practice between organizations and the venues and business we patronize.
Lisa’s dance style knowledge includes Milwaukee Bop, Detroit Ballroom and Line Dancing; all of which she supports through promotion, learning and support of the greater dance community. |
